MJ's death shocks fans

Music lovers across the world were shocked on Thursday. The tragic news of Michael Jackson’s death left many completely devastated. .

It was an extraordinary scene on the streets of Los Angeles. Hundreds of fans of the pop star came out on the streets and it looked like a collective shock at the sudden death of their star. Most of them put their hands on their face. Some of his fans were holding posters `Rest in peace Michael Jackson,' while many were chanting `Michael, Michael…’ The 'King of Pop’, who made millions across the world dance to his tunes died at the University of California Medical Centre Hospital here on Thursday afternoon. The all-time great entertainer was rushed to the UCLA Medical Centre Hospital after suffering a cardiac arrest at his Los Angeles home. His brother Jermaine Jackson said doctors at the hospital tried for over an hour to revive the singer. An autopsy that will be conducted in a day or two will reveal the exact cause of his death.

While the pop star’s family is in a state of shock, his fans too are yet to come in terms with the tragic news. "I am shocked,'' said Jason, 15, who loves Jackson's music. Though youngsters like Jason may not have seen the Pop star when he was in the prime of his great career, they just love his music.

Derek, 20, who was one among many youth gathered on the streets, said he is a big fan of Jackson. "I can't believe that Jackson is dead. I am speechless'' he said. The pop star had been due to perform in series of concerts in London in July this year and from past few months he was rehearsing for the shows. The great artist, who was known for his innovative dance moves on the stage, had received 13 Grammy Awards.

Though Jackson was in the news for some wrong reasons_ _ like child molestation case_ _ the star will always be remembered for his innovative dance moves on the stage and music that had fan following across all ages, and across the world.
